Teambuilding on a Large Scale for Patients in Hospitals
We just returned from a trip to Dallas, Texas, and what an amazing experience! We often tout our ability to host large-scale PaintFest® events and this was no exception.
1,250 sales representatives from a pharmaceutical company descended upon the exhibit hall at the Hilton Anatole for a night of fun, food, and community service. After an inspiring opening session, the volunteers spread out in search of their paintings and the chance to make a difference.
In an effort to build relationships, renew old ones, and work together in teams, everyone was assigned a table based on their region. Teams bonded while garnering their artistic talents for a common purpose. The music, food and beverages provided the fuel as their passion poured out onto the canvases across the room.
After two hours of spreading joy with a paintbrush, the groups stepped back and admired their work. In awe of what they had created, pictures were snapped from one end of the room to the other. To know that their efforts will change the environment of a hospital for good was a reassuring feeling.
With the focus on total patient care, you could not walk out of the room without recognizing the benefits of the art and the impact on the patients. The paintings will be donated to healthcare facilities around the country.
Thanks to all of the volunteers for an incredible night!
