Multiple-Canvas-Painting Hanging Instructions

We encourage you to hang these paintings in patient treatment areas (i.e.: radiation rooms, physical therapy areas, patient rooms and waiting rooms).

Each painting is coded on the back of each canvas, at the top. You have three canvases on top (1, 2 & 3) and three on the bottom (4,5 & 6). The canvases either form a "vertical" format or a "horizontal" format.

The paintings have been drawn with an inch between them, so when hanging, you must have an inch between them to maintain the form of the painting. This style also eliminates the need for framing. We suggest you hang the top center canvas (#2) first. Next, measure 1" out from the edge of #2 canvas to find where #1 and #3 canvases should be placed. Hang #1 and #3, remembering to keep 1" separation. Next measure down 1" from the bottom edge of the #2 canvas to hang the #5 middle canvas. Then, just as before, measure out 1" from the edge of canvas #5 to hang #4 & #6 canvases.

Always leave one inch between canvases when hanging. You may use nails (two per canvas) to hang each canvas or other hanging techniques to secure the paintings. Use a level to place the two nails for each canvas.

"I think this is really cool. This will really help patients. It will keep them from worrying so much. It will help them forget all the stuff they have to go through, like tubes being changed and IV needles or surgery."
