Operation Lovejoy-Volunteer Information
Operation Lovejoy New York
Once every other month from 9:00-11:00am a team of a maximum of 20 volunteers meets at Hoboken University Medical Center to paint murals that will be donated to hospitals. The murals are fun to paint, and give comfort and hope to those who suffer in hospitals by providing artwork at no cost to hospitals. It is a great service opportunity. It is also a great way to give back to the community as a family.
Dates:
- June 26th from 9:00 to 11:00 AM
- August 21st from 9:00 to 11:00 AM
- October 23rd from 9:00 to 11:00 AM
- December 18th from 9:00 to 11:00 AM
Location: Assumption Hall on the first floor of the Hoboken University Medical Center. Enter and check in at the front desk in the main lobby at 308 Willow Avenue, Hoboken, NJ 07030.
Important Notes for Volunteers
- Reserve your spot- To reserve your spot as a volunteer please contact the Foundation for Hospital Art at 678-324-1695 or email at info@hospitalart.org. Since there is only space for a maximum of 20 volunteers each week, you must reserve your spot to volunteer.
- Meet at the Hoboken University Medical Center at 9am.
- Painting attire- Wear something that is paint worthy.
- Parking- The Hoboken Parking Authority operates a public garage located directly behind the hospital on Clinton Street, between Third and Fourth Streets.
